Environmental Management Support, Inc., a small environmental consulting and communications firm located in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, is looking for an environmental scientist, analyst, and technical writer/researcher with strong analytical, writing and editing skills who also is knowledgeable about EPA hazardous waste cleanup programs and technologies. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a physical scientist or environmental engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and a minimum of six-years of demonstrated experience in CERCLA and/or RCRA programs and has at least three-years of experience managing contract task orders/projects. Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills are a must, as is knowledge of EPA's hazardous waste programs, particularly Superfund and RCRA. Field experience in hazardous waste site characterization and remediation is a plus. This is currently a full-time remote position but will transition to our Silver Spring office when it is safe to do so.
